Some where some one had a fleece pull that they made. I would love to find that thread again as she gave instructions. I found some at a farmers market and I got one for Zak and he loves it. I told her about some one making it with 4 lenghts and she will make me one if I find out how to do it.
When I say he loves it he just loves it, runs through the house with it and jumps up in the air with it.

I think you might be talking about Danisgoat. I think she made one for her new puppy Dandie. It's probably in that thread.

No it was not Dandie it was one with an older female that it took a while to get used to the puppy. Shoot the name is on the tip of my tongue. I am sure someone will remember.

It was a 4-braid (that much I remember because I asked how to braid 4 strands) and about 2.5 feet long....I can see the picture of the dogs playing tug, but just can't remember who it was. It sucks getting senile!

I think you are thinking of the tug toy I made, Barb.
But Sumac3890 said that it was someone else's tug toy that they were thinking of.

I've been making lots of tugs lately, just worked out how to do the 4-braid rounded plait. I cut my strips about 10cm (4"),
Start with the outer strand on the right-hand side
Weave the outer strand (on the right) under the two middle strands, then back to the right over the second strand you wove under.
Then with the outer strand on the left repeat the under two, reverse over one weaving pattern
Keep weaving alternating the outer right then outer left.
I've become a little creative and am making leashes out of them now.
To do a handle, when you get nearer the end cut all the 4 weave strands in half and divide into two groups of strands. Weave the two groups seperately and then knot the two groups together at the end.
If you want to have a leash attachment at the other end, what I have been doing is threading the four strands through the bottom of the leash attachment and then tacking down the loose strands back onto the main strands before starting the weaving as above. Its actually handing using a leash attachment because I clip the leash attachment onto something and it leaves my hands free to weave.
When I finish I sew down the leash end to reinforce it.
Does that all make sense? When I find my camera i will take a photo

Thanks for the instructions I will take them to that lady this week. Zak just loves them. I need to get another one to take to keep at his grandmothers house.
