Some of you know m some don't. I am. Ot a hypo when it comes to my Max, but this rescue has issues and so far no vet is taking him seriously. I left my vet january after twelve years be ause he was taking care of Max and going no where. My specialist for allergies left her hospital.
Max had pancreatitus about six month ago, allergies, fungus, infections all this in sixmonths or so. Anyway i just had an extended blood panel done to make sure he is ok. That came back friday ok, and today i called because max has a dark spot the size of a quarter or fifty cents on his bib. I also wanted to know how his urine test was. The. Et said it was fine and when i told bim about the mark he said to put him back oncortisone and another med.
Anyway we went out of town today and he was home with my son who told us Max threw up 13 times. I am so upset because i knew something wasn't right. Just like a mother knows when her child is sick, we know when are shelties aren't right. SOOOO can anyone recommend a good vet in monmouth county Nj near Red bank! I am so worried about Max.

I didn't have a lot luck with them several years ago with my other sheltie Wily. Also extremely over priced. I use garden state animal hospial when Max had an allergist.

My vet would be far from you. He is in Sergeantsville.

I am all the way on the western side of Jersey, so I am not familiar with vets in your area.

Lynnel, I concur with Danisgoat, Red Bank Animal Hospital is one of the best around. They diagnosed and treated Seamus last year with the absolute best of care.

Years ago maybe there was an issue with Red Bank I don't know, but this is now, and they are great. Our vet there was Dr. Catalina Montealegre, VMD. She even called us at home to see how Seamus was doing.

Please ask for her specifically, tell her that Seamus' owners, the Dierks recommended her to you. I believe that she may even have a practice of her own.

    Telephone 609-926-5300.

Everyone thank you. I did look into Red bank vet hosp. But then i called to see if garden state replaced our allergist and they did. The receptionist said he couldn't c me until june 20. I told her I couldn't wait so she contacted him at another location, next thing i know hes.cAlling me on my cell, he had looked at max?s files and after speaking with me he is calling my vet to get his latest blood work and i am seeing him friday, only because i couldn't see him thur evening. He has great credentials, and i feel so comfortable with him, so wish me luck and thank you again family. Max says thanks to. I have hope again!

I am so happy everything fell into place so quickly for you and that you are able to see the vet on Friday.

Both you and Max are in my prayers. Please continue to update us. Thanks.
