About 6 weeks ago my C-pap mask came loose and the air leaking out was to loud for Amber. She got scared and ran down stairs. She will come up stairs with us but won't stay all night. Every night around 9:00 pm she will go down stairs and sleep on the couch.

We just don't know what to do to help her get past this fear. We miss being able to reach out at night and touch her. We would even put up with her wanting to sleep east and west.:wink2:

Do treat + desensitizing. Bring in room, treat. Bring near it off, treat. Turn on and off, treat. (more steps in between but you get the idea) Just keep making tiny steps towards getting back to where you were with lots of rewards. If you have any of your old masks/hoses etc. you could also have those nearby in other places in the house so that there's lots of exposure.
