Default Acana Pacifica

Thinking of switching max to acana Pacifica but everyone on line is out of it. Are they trying to tell me something?

There was a fire at one of the Champion plants. They are very low on inventory right now.

Exactly...Fire issues

i see petfooddirect has limited supplies of Acana, but might not be the variety you are looking for.

This is why,it is so important,to get your dogs used to switching up foods, with differant proteins etc. Gets thier gut used to differant things.
If your dog can stand the switch, now might be the time to find another brand.
Just my thoughts~

I know allot of distribution centers in the NJ area that are still affected by Hurricane Sandy, that could be the cause of why there's no restock.

A substitute would be TOTW Pacific Stream or if you wanted to stay Canadian, Go! Salmon. I just don't remember if the Salmon is grain-free or not.

I did find a small bag on line. My groomer caries it, but only had the big bag? She carries all the quality foods including raw! But I needed the small bag in case Max doesn't like it!
I really didn't think changing food was good for his digestion or his pancreas, although every time we toto a new specialist they have changed his food to the point thatI said enough. The last one I thought was grain free NOT, and this was a nutrionist . First ingredient corn! He had that same odor again!
Thanks everyone, I can always count on you for good advice and help :)

I would say it is because of the fire. The place I buy mine did not get any Acana or Orejin this week. Luckily mine are used to switching. I have one bag of Acana left then will go to Fromm. Fromm does have a grain free line.

I'll be very surprised if he doesn't, most dogs seem to be crazy for it, especially the Pacifica which has a particularly fishy smell that dogs love.

Good luck!
