Thank you for your prayers. I've been a little better for a month or so. As we all know, they remain with us forever. In late August, I knew I needed to be owned by another. As I watched Rusty mourn also, keeping mine private so's not to upset him I knew he was ready too. In the past, through my 59 years after the loss of one of my beloved pets,(I've had kitties that lived 18, 19 and 21 years.) I would within 3 months get a new little kitten or pup. With Abby's passing, I couldn't even imagine bringing anything into her home. I felt I would be dis honoring her I guess. I'm happy to say, after much research and FB checking, I chose who I believe to be a reputable breeder and watched little Brandy Rose grow online. We got her 9/21. She was 8 wks old. She's a little bi-black spitfire! I've said many times, I guess we never had a healthy puppy. WOW. About the KD, I DO hope and pray we can all find out what's causing it. It's so sad watching an otherwise seemingly healthy pet just go down when they're stage 3 or beyond. I know I could of had her tested, but after Tobie died from it I never dreamed Abby would develop it also! I made a mistake about Tobies age, he had just turned 9. Sorry to go on so long, just wanted to introduce our little girl to the Nation! With love, Rusty and Brandy Debi's owners. |
