I hope not either. I'll sure feel like a fool if it is. I picked it up from Facebook so you never know. But it sure sounded legit to me.

I don't understand where/how he gets the money. May be a lot of donations.

There is an "About" link on the page that gives more info. The guy building them takes donations in the form of gift cards to the stores that sell the supplies he uses - a great idea, I think! He lost a dog to cancer, has another that is disabled and uses a cart, so it's a personal quest for him.

Doesn't seem at all like a scam to me. Sounds like a really great project.

Thanks for posting this, I posted a thread not to long ago about wheelchairs because I think that one day Sadie may need one. Will definitely keep this on file for future reference!

I really like that he's willing to help others build wheelchairs for their dogs, which we would probably do or make a donation. Its great that there's someone out there that cares enough to do this!
