Default ESSC Centenary Photos and Video

The English Shetland Sheepdog Club was officially recognised by the KC in 1914 and the first show took place in the summer of that year. Last weekend members of the club celebrated 100 years in style at a special 1914 themed show. This was a wonderful event and I was so proud to be there along with hundreds of other people and a wonderfully diverse mix of shelties, obviously the show dogs but also working and pets too. Many people dressed up for the event in the fashions of 1914, which looked spectacular and there was also a parade of champions. All the various 'Branches' (local mini clubs) had 1914 themed stalls and everyone present had a piece of cake and took home a lovely bag as a souvenir of the day.
