Sammy had his first bath. He did not die. I think he liked it! He had treats afterwards and did Happy Zoomies! Next Milestone: The Snip...next Wednesday. I am not looking forward to this. Janet

Haha, sounds like a great start! Riley gets after bath zoomies too
![]() Cone of shame time! Riley was neutered about a month ago, it wasn't a very pleasant two weeks. No exercise=crazy puppy. But at least it's a one time thing. Hope all goes well! |

Yay! It's always a relief when a dog likes their first bath. Asher's brother screams in the shower
Literally has to be held in the arms of someone while being sprayed with water. What are the bath zombies? That sounds like a lot of fun haha Good luck on the neutering. Being cooped up isn't fun for a young pup |

Shelby does the bath zoomies too. That's why I try not to give her a bath at home. It takes forever to clean up and geg rid of all the dog hair off the walls. Shelby also rubs against everything when she is wet.
Glad he liked his bath!

Hehe bath zombies, that sounds cute
It's basically when they get really excited after baths and act like someone lit a fire under them, running around and acting crazy. |

Oh oh I know that! Every dog I've ever had does that, no matter the breed. I just call it the "friskies" haha but "bath zombies" is just as good if not better!

Do they ever stop having the bath zombies?

Oops, I think I may have caused some confusion. The term I was referring to is actually called "zoomies" not "zombies". I assumed it was a typo or auto-correct and thought it sounded cute. Sorry for the confusion!
I've never heard of them referred to as "friskies", that describes them well too. As for if they stop, I'm not sure. Riley is my first sheltie and he's only 9 months. |

I looked back and that was all my bad haha I saw zombies for no apparent reason
They don't really stop when a pup reaches adulthood. My 10 year old toy breed used to do that too
