Olive is an excellent fit model!
This year I decided to draft my own costume for Olive (doing pet shows years ago with my parents' Sheltie taught me big 4 patterns do not fit them at all)... she has been pretty tolerant of the process, possibly because bribery is involved.
It's not nearly finished (need to attach the cape, decide what closures I want, make a plume, possibly re-hem the jacket, make and attach epaulets... you get the idea) but she was just a good sport last night trying on pieces (with cookies as compensation, of course  ) I thought I'd share.http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...2/P1060286.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...2/P1060292.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...2/IMAG0054.jpg Sorry for the poor quality of the picture of the (slightly sad looking) shako - I somehow lost my camera between the two fittings and had to use DH's phone.

Olive is a beautiful subject, and very co-operative, too.
I am, also, looking forward to seeing her in the finished costume. (looks great so far!)

Thanks everyone!
We are trying to decide what event she'll debut it at. Alexandria/Arlington has a bunch of "Howl-o-ween" events so it's just a matter of deciding which ones Olive will put up with- first one is in two weeks so we'll see if I get the rest of my supplies in by then!

Is that Baylor? I think half of my (small) company went to Baylor.. I'm surrounded. But very cute! I don't think I'm creative or talented enough to make something like that!
