Its cold here too, but the shelties love the cold weather.

Great suggestion to cover the crate. I do that here when I have to watch a family dog. They lay down and rest.

Well, hopefully, I don't have to worry too much about this. Workers are here now finishing the generator installation. At the moment, the big question is which rooms don't get power. We can wire most of the house into the generator, but a few rooms don't get power, alas.

Still, that's not the biggest concern at the moment.

Weather is still decent here. Light rain, no wind to speak of.

I think you check your shelter as to which ones will accept pets, because apparently, while some are accepting pets, they will be kept in a separate area then where the people are, I'm not to keen on that.
