chocolate sheltie

    mom is not a sheltie. not sure what breed she is...but definitely not 100% sheltie...

    The coat, the head and the coloring and thats all I can detail on from the view in the basket.

    I thunk shes full sheltie. The Coat is trimmed short and looks dry due to bad care. The head is badly bred and color is a surprise I think. This breeder is more of a puppy mill, he also shamelessly puts photos of double Merle breedings on his fb. Disgusting really.

    We don't have chocolate in this breed (especially with brown pigment, the photos here are no longer available, so I can't go back and look at pigment). So just like brindle, if you see a chocolate Sheltie, something else has "walked" past.

    I see. Thank you for clearing that up! I thought she is a Maltese blue, but most likely she is not full Sheltie like you said. I guess he thinks the color is rare so he bred from her. There's a puppy in the litter with the same color.:gaah
