Default Storm Video from last weekend's trial

Well after last night's practice consisting of contact training and pole entry, which went very well actually, I put together the video of her runs from last weeks trial, lots of handler error's and dog errors throughout this one LOL.
I didn't like being the first dog too the line every morning and first dog out every run that's for sure but I guess somebody has to be that Guy as ther was no 10" dogs at the trial.

If we can get the weave entry down solid especially offside and her contacts back to 100% then thing should go much smoother next time out, still she doing great for a little girl that just turned 2 last month and this is only her 3rd outing.Dad has to practice putting a steel rod down his back so he doesn't bend over.

Enjoy and be Kind

Congrats to you and Storm!!It was hard to tell but it looked like you were crowding Storm at the weaves casuing her not to get them and some of your cues weren't clear like when you sent her to the tunnel your send arm is what we call airplane hands in the air.I think you did a great job and Storm looks great!!

Yes my wife and my trainer both gave me those same critiques, LOL such is the power of videoing all your run's you get to relive and have for posterity all of your transgressions

Not being 100% doesn't help either I tore the meniscus in my right knee 2weeks ago very small and healable and my sports doc, tri coach and phisiotherapist wern't too happy that I was going to be out running on it so early, so Greg my Phisiotherapist taped the crap out of it for me friday aft before the trial, it was wendesday this week before the swelling went down enough that I had full range of motion in the knee again, But I had already paid to play and I was darn well gonna.

I agree with the others. Storm looked good and looks like she had so much fun!

Since you've been hurt I bet it will just take a little time to get in sync again. Lexi and I were off for 6 months and have been back for 2, and still aren't on the same timing.

I think you guys looked great -- she is still a baby dog!

Yea she is definately having fun, and certainly loves playing agility. On the way out to practice on Friday night after work it was too funny, we got to the stop sign 1/2 mile from the practice hall it has thoses rumble strips when you approach it, as soon as we stopped at the sign she was literally whinning in the backseat of the car and when we turned into the driveway she just started barking out loud and bouncing up and down, Cindy & I were just howling it was just too too funny.

Storm looks great! My only suggestions are 1, that you stand up...2, that you back up when resetting the weaves...and 3 that you keep your arm out and support the obstacles. You're throwing your arm up suddenly and then not holding it out to support that obstacle.

But I can tell you that after 12 years of competiting, I still do all three of the things I'm telling you about and my instructor yells at me all the time for it
