Default Could it be a UTI?

Today Henry has been unusually pesky about going outside and I have watched him and he is straining to pee. He peed in the house which is not normal and he wants to go out every 15-20 mins. I went out with him and watched the poor guy strain 3 times with no urine coming out. I am not sure if it is a UTI, that's my first guess. But, it is also VERY windy here today and it's REALLY loud and making tons of noises so I am also wondering if he could be stressed. I am going to have ot watch him for the rest of the night and tomorrow call the vet, if they are open since it's a holiday. I didn't see any blood in the urine that I cleaned up when he peed in the house. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it could possibly be a uti so you should get him into see a vet. Keep him hydrated, too, with lots of opportunities to go out to pee. Healing prayers coming your way.

That was my first thought, but my mom said it could be because of the wind because her dogs are acting strange too. I was not really able to sleep last night because of the wind and the dogs woke me up several times barking (at the wind). I am going to call my vet tomorrow I hope they are open, but if not I'll just have to go to an emergency vet.

Since all mine can and will pee in a hurricane, I think it's a UTI, too.

I called the emergency vet and they told me as long as he is still peeing it's good even if he can't go every now and then. They also said just watch him over the course of the night and if anything seems to change then bring him in, but if I can wait until tomorrow take him to my regular vet. I just hope regular vets are open tomorrow b/c it's President's Day. I did go to the drug store and got some unflavored Pedialyte and put just a splash of low sodium fat free organic chicken broth in it to make it enticing to him, he drank it so that's a good thing and he's still playing and eating just fine.
