Default walking puppy

I have been taking Skye outside on a leash for his business since I brought him home so he is used the collar and leash.

As I saw in the other thread...I am afraid that if I try putting the leash on inside he may think he needs to do his business in the house! or am I over thinking it?

He goes for his final vaccines this week...so in just over a week he can be put on the ground and away we go. What is the best approach to introducing him to everything new on the ground level in a positive way?

I think you might be over thinking it. I would just start by putting the leash on inside when you have a planned activity that Skye is familiar with. For example, put it on at playtime, or dinner time, or when you give a bone (always supervised, of course).

I would say to introduce things to him slowly and always bring something fun to reward him with (treats, toy, even yourself!).
