Riley tip: The trick is to sit up super straight and intently watch every mouthful she takes. If that doesn't work, your only choice is to find something else to munch on..like a sock!

Beau, did you try Riley's tip yet? Or the sock-foot idea is pretty good, too. If that doesn't work, do you have access to the trash can where the bread may be put for you later? Last resort, call an emergency meeting of your local SUBU, if your mean Mom sees a whole picket line of beautiful hungry-for-Sarcone's bread shelties, she may relent & give up the whole loaf for the cause! or out of fear, either way works

Bela here - you might have to try laying on the cuteness. Can you sit up on your back haunches? That, and waving your paws and looking most hopeful usually works on our mom. Gracie has mastered it, but I haven't yet. I usually fall over, but I still keep trying. Eventually momma feels sorry for me and gives me a bite.
