I am so glad to have her back safely. Now that she's back she eats anything in her bowl with no coaxing. Before she would only eat a little out of my hand & it was moistened dry food & cooked chicken. She is thinner but I am fattening her up since she was thin already. Still working on the fearfulness but having her around London & Bailey is helping. They are so bouncy & friendly. She now barks when they do so that's an improvement. She's getting to be more like a regular dog.

I am so thankful to have her back. She is VERY shy so I am taking it easy & just letting her watch me interact with London & Bailey. You can tell she wants so bad to let loose but she just can't do it yet. Makes me want to take that breeder & throw her in a run outside 24/7 so she can see how it feels.

What really surprised me was some of the negative response we got from people on lost pet sites. Several were accusing saying we shouldn't have a dog if it gets out & that we were irresponsible for her not being spayed or microchipped. I think they totally ignored that we got her late that Monday evening & she got out Wednesday night. One woman posted blasting us saying she delivers newspapers on our road & she has almost hit her 40 times because she's always in the road in the wee hours. She has us confused with my neighbors who have a beagle & a hunting dog that are always out baying all night. The ironic thing is that this woman is now posting that HER dog got out & is missing. Another person posted saying our dog has been running loose & trying to bite people for months... but they live 7 miles from us. Thank goodness the people here understand how shelties are & how things can happen in the blink of an eye even when you are on guard.
