My first two were trained using luring at a low height with someone holding the end. Later dogs have used the jungle gym method. All of mine are also now started as puppies on the booja board to learn they can control the movement, get used to it, and learn good things happen when something bangs and moves.

With Cosmo I started Small maybe a 6" tip them moved up to a higher fall on lead and then to maximum luring to the tip point and then rewarding on the contact.
IT turned out to be one of his favorite things, Storm took to it full hight right
away as soon as she saw Cosmo do it once off leash and the main concern for her was teaching her to spot on the contact, it still is for that matter.

We trained ours during the winter months on a 6ft long teeter board in our basemen LOL xD. I balanced the teeter at its tipping point and put two boxes on either end to keep it level. Nellie was trained to run from one end to the other. Over time, I traded the boxes out so that one end got lower and lower, then the other end would slowly get lower (There are some video clips I'll post that we trained off of.)
Eventually we worked on different types of boards on the teeter & proofing until wie got our final result of a 2o2o teeter that has worked really well for us.

Nothing fancy. Just started with it flat and moved it up little by little. I think that was one of the least hardest obstacles to learn, but my Shelties are not even close to timid

I taught both of my dogs the first time just setting the teeter low, teaching them understand they controlled the motion.

But, Lexi developed a fear at some point and so we had to retrain. I used the Wendy Pape method for that.
