If you have an Iphone, set the ringer to "dog bark"--made that mistake once.

My husband walking around with his arms up like a zombie growling at Pippa--yes, we are weird. She circles him wildly.

She has a thing for used fabric softener sheets (and here I spent all this money on chew toys), which are harmful if eaten--I have to throw them away in the trash can she can't get to--she can find them anywhere.

Junior always barked and grabbed a toy and would shake it when we sneezed or coughed. He always loved my husband's drill. When my husband cheered for his favorite sports team, he would grab a toy and shake it. He was so funny like that. He also would howl for certain people, he even howled for President Bush! I miss him so much!

My sheltie that died last year would pitch a fit if you sneezed.

    • Trash bags being fluffed
    • Laughing really hard
    • Laughing really hard then trying to stifle it into big smiles
    • Cheering for sports teams
    • Shuffling your feet
    • Making the bed
    • Any fast movement (by us or the cat!)
    • The sound of the cat landing on ANYTHING
    • The cat on top of anything ("THAT'S NOT ALLOWED THAT'S NOT ALLOWED"!)
    • The cat moving at more than a walk
    • Bentley only--dogs barking outside, on TV, in a parallel universe

I forgot. One of spitfires better ones. Putting the toilet seat down. He can be in a full snooze and I can gently lower it yet he comes roaring. Being a Sheltie Sca is usually there and gets pounced on. If not he jumps at my leg as goes flying backout.

I don't know which I'm more surprised about - a dog barking at a toilet or a man putting the toilet seat down!

Melli goes off when my tummy grumbles. She usually blames Shay for that!

    I love this thread!

Trace LOVED the Dyson - would try to lick it while I was cleaning.

So funny that after reading all of this, non-sheltie people would think this was just nuts, that the dogs are psychotic. I KNOW it's nuts and cannot wait to have a Sheltie back in our home! :smile2:
