We have three kinds of cones in our retinas and dogs have only two, so they have what I would call 'extreme' red/green color blindness. I teach about color blindness in my biology courses,
interesting....my daughter has Achromatopsia...lack of cone vision. |

No. According to this site http://dog-vision.com/, to them pink would just be gray-yellow depending on the shade.
This is unfortunate since Missy has a ton of pink stuff.. Here's another good site with pictures- http://www.sportdogtraining.net/dog-health-eyes/
