My daughter is crossing into a new frontier tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning she gets to run Trax! She's been practicing with him in class and since she's taking him to the Junior Invitationals, I figure she better get some ring experience with him before then! I'm only letting her run him in Jumpers tomorrow and then if she handles that well, then next weekend I'll let her do a Standard course and we'll go from there. I just hope he holds his stay for her.

I totally forgot to upload the video yesterday. Jordan ran Trax in Jumpers and they did great! There was a hard shoulder pull to an opposite end of a tunnel and she just held it a bit too long so he got a refusal and then later in the course she needed to get a front cross and missed the opportunity and he ended up dropping a bar from her sudden movements. But they really did well! Next weekend I'm gonna let her run him in Standard and see how they do :)

Glad to hear it didn't go too bad, she probably learned a lot from the experience and that's what it's all about, plus you know as well as I do that it takes time for a dog and handler to mesh even if they both have tons of experience we each have our own individule Quirks dog and handler alike , I will be looking for the video.

Oops--missed this post. Sounds like it went well, though! Really neat that your daughter is involved. What does she think of running Trax? And something tells me that Trax doesn't mind :)

She was fine with running Trax. Trax will run for anyone so he definitely doesn't care. Jordan is very serious and intense about agility and anything really so she was just...Jordan. She didn't seem to care one way or the other

I forgot again to upload that video. She had soccer practice last night.
