Well despite Sca having his devil horns showing Sunday morning he was mostly good all weekend. He got almost 700 points and that was with him setting out 2 races so another dog could get her title (successfully).
He needs almost 800 to become a Flyball Dog Master and there is a slim chance he will get it next tournament but more likely in Nashville around New Years.Saturday was smoking hot and humid in the building and all the dogs were running slower including Sca. But he was running clean and consistent for the most part. My starts on the other hand worst ever since I started. I was all over the place both early and late and Sca seems to have taken to starting so he got faster.Sunday he was in a mood so I was a bit worried. However he was great all day and faster than Saturday (though in the morning it was a bit cooler). My starts improved but were still terrible. Oh and Sca crashed me we were lined up and he tripped me. I could have kept my balance but doing so I would have stepped on Sca, Suri and her owner Carol so I kind of rolled and went down. I was sure I was going to get a black eye as I went on my cheek bone pretty good and it was burning for a while but no mark this morning.Oh and our slow beginner team the Pedal Pushers ran a 22 second! 3 in a row! We had been flirting with breaking 24 (<24 is 25 points >24 is 5 points) and had a bunch of them this time. All the beginner dogs were doing fantastic. The youngest of the bunch got her title and then another dog crossed over on her. She was being run by someone else and that combined with the cross fried her brain so the last two runs were way off (the other team felt bad about it but there was no harm done). Beignet showed up with her Mom and wounded Dad Trip, Spitfire and Sca were happy to see her though Spitfire so wanted a zoom area so he could run with her free (I am sure they would have both loved it). I think they might try out the Chattanooga team. So a great weekend and lots of Shelties... my plan of an all Sheltie open team is getting closer. There is Sca, two from Atlanta, a blue merle starting up from FL (who is going to be FAST) so I need 2 more as I would want lots of backup dogs in case on flakes out

It was good meeting you yesterday. We definitely have interest after coming check it out. Going to go to the next local practice. We did take another trip to the er not long after we left. I was in severe pain because they wrapped my arm too tight, I got severe pressure sores from my bones rubbing against my skin... I am in hardly any pain now without meds thanks to them fixing the splint.
Spitfire was adorable and we barely got to see Sca's last run as we were walking in the door. Only took a few pics cause I was one limb down. Sca and beignet saying hi http://imageshack.us/a/img17/7611/67160986.jpg Unknown cute little dog returning http://imageshack.us/a/img812/7856/34475209.jpg |

Sca would have had one more run but we gave it away both days so Spring the BC could get her Flyball Dog Excellent award otherwise we would have had one more. She barely made it though so it was good we dropped out. Of course mister social butterfly had the picture saying hi And don't let the size fool you Spitfire is named that for a reason. When we got home he was battling Sca and leaping off furniture like a madman. He did make a ton of progress on people though and liked y'all. Not sure if it was all improvement though as you had Beignet which earned you a lot I am sure.

Way to go, Sca! He will have that Master title in no time. So cool.
And really neat that you got to meet Beignet and her family!
