Went to meet Odin today! He was such a good puppy. By far the best of the litter! Biggest boy too haha. Kind of a meatball. He just loved to be held and didn't squirm at all. Set him down and he sat right at our feet like take me home now. Can't wait until he comes to live with us. His mother who was on site had a wonderful temperament as well even though she had 8 puppies!!! I thought it was six but the poor momma had 8 of them!

Gosh! That one of all the pups is crazy! Cubby is one of six. Eight! Yikes.

Glad Odin is a big one -- you said you wanted that. Isn't it hard to put them down and walk out and wait?

Soon, soon, and it will be wonderful! Well, kinda horrible, but wonderful too!

I know. 8 from such a small breed seems crazy. The dam is 5 years old and this is her third and last litter. First was 6. Second was 8 but two where stillborn and this one 8 again. Crazy. She's supplementing with formula and already cause mommas having a hard time feeding them all.

I'm glad he's big too. She thinks he'll go oversize probably 35 she's estimating. I'll be happy with that size.
And yes I just want him home now! Although the 25 minutes of playtime was great. They where all tuckered out after that.

Celtic is 1 of 8. The first litter of his dam Ash who is 2.5yrs . She was very unimpressed with them for the first couple weeks. She fed them ok but the cleaning was a bit hit or miss.

Ash was 1 of 7(Birch and Spruce are her brothers) and her mom was from a litter of 9(8 survived). So big litters run in the family/genetic.

    Odin is veey cute.Congrats

That is one totally adorable little (or not so little) "meatball"! He sounds like a winner personality-wise too. And like everyone else...I love the name you picked for him!

Can't wait to bring him home and start on training. I was surprised and happy to see him run back to his "room" and use the pee pads in front of the litter box they're all in while the others tinkled on her kitchen floor. I don't know if it was a fluke or he figured it out already but hopefully it's a sign that housebreaking will be a breeze.
He's definitely a chunker haha. If you look at the photo of all of them, the last link I think you can easily spot him in the lower right of the picture just by his happy belly.
