Default Olive gets a new bed

Olive has been deemed mature enough to handle another fluffy bed (she destroyed her last one a couple months ago and since has used piles of blankets and bath sheets) and so here it is- I think she likes it

DH made the crate before we got her when we thought we were getting a slightly bigger dog, so it's a little over sized. She also can't be kept in there unsupervised since she figured out how to open the door on her own

**edit** you can right click 'view image' to make it large, the 'make it fullsize' function takes forever to load

My Olive here: Your hooman has mad crate makin' skillz! That's a pretty fantastic set-up you've got there. I especially like the bed. Looks super comfy.

Oh, and if I were you, I'd totally make hash-marks on the inside of that crate, to make visitors think I was imprisoned for long periods, in order to get extra sympathy cookies. Gullible humans would have no idea!

That is a killer crate! Wish my DH was that willing to do carpentry work. He much prefers fixing cars.

That's why we made it- not including the cost of the new pocket hole drill bit DH wanted anyway, it was only around 50-60.
The cheap ones you find online usually aren't as sturdy either (this one made it from Texas to Virginia in the back of a moving van, with a microwave inside and stuff stacked on top). I was also being picky about materials since I didn't want anything that would off-gas and make Olive sick.
