What would you do with your dogs if you were unable to care for them?

    I actually was having this discussion yesterday. Right now, they go off to see my parents (of course, that's an 8 hr drive) and my parents keep them for whatever length of time needed. They actually tried to convince me to leave them in PA until mid-August after them having them from June- mid July. I think my parents like my kids :lol: They also have shelties and used to breed shelties though so I know they're in good hands.

    That being said, down the road, my husband and I are currently not planning on having kids, may change, may not, but it got me thinking... I have no idea who will take my shelties if I were to die without having kids. My brothers are both meh I like dogs, but owning, eh. Even though my one brother has a sheltie. Hopefully my nephew and my future nieces/nephews like shelties in the future :fl
