Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, everyone! Miles is doing GREAT. He's even using that leg! As a matter of fact, he seems to be doing better three days post-op than he was before surgery, and he very much wants to play!

As for covering the bald area, I found and ordered a dog "onesie"- he'll be so ashamed, but it'll keep him warm and will also keep me from having to be reminded that my poor sheltie got shaved.
