We're ok, got our power back Saturday , it's been a long week but we have been at the shelter with people so much worse off then us. Our town is surrounded by rivers so need I say more! The town east of us is on the ocean and just devasted also and then sea bright next door. It is so hard to see all this, but our town and mayor have been wonderful keeping us all informed. People are so generous with there clothing I've been spending my time separating and folding clothing to the point we had to stop taking in clothes! At the racetrack they have ment tent homes for all the displaced families and the electrical workers.
We had been evacuated in wildwood before the storm hit because gene's mom had died and we were sitting shiva, all his brothers were in from Colorado , Florida etc. as it turned out his sister never lost power and is so much better off then here, thank goodness! Prior to that we drove to Atlanta for interviews for Gene and I was looking for rentals. When I tell you we have been on a roller coaster. My poor max had gotten so depressed with us away he wasn't eating! And we all know what an appetite he has. I think we have gone back ward with him. So now I won't leave him very long. He was very sad and also going to the bathroom in the house which he never did! But I was bribing him with bones . :) so that is our story. Hugs

We are seeing pictures of the clear up on the news and it looks grim. Hope things are starting to improve a bit now and thinking of those of you who are still feeling the effects.
