That's what I am afraid of - up and ready for a speedy recovery. She is one that I will def have to crate, otherwise she and Liam just keep going - I feel like I have two Eveready Bunnies at times.:smile2:

Natalie is out of surgery and trying to sit up. She came through fine. I'll update more once I have picked her up and spoken with the vet. The tech said having her on the ABX for the three days was a positive move.

I'm glad it went well! Sending thoughts for a perfect recovery and a pup that will rest well :)lol: good luck with that part... I don't think the word ''calm'' is in a Sheltie's vocabulary ;) )

Natalie is home. She is subdued but still wants to run after the ball Liam wants me to kick for him. It will be a real challenge to keep her quiet. She slept all the way home.

The vet felt she may have had a low-grade pyometra as the uterus was spongy. However, he felt the antibiotics definitely helped in this regard.

    Now to keep her quiet.

Yay Natalie -- recover quickly and don't pop your stitches like Bits did!

Natters is crated, so hopefully she won't pop the stitches. Poor Bits.

She is fine this morning, back to normal. However, overnight was a totally different story. I forget how much diarrhea they can have after anesthesia. Needless to say, I was up and down all night with her. Funny, I don't remember Emma and Liam having this, but my Noah did.
