she a Big girl for 6 months old, but she doing great training wise, Storm would NEVER sit to wait for a ball half the time she's 20 feet or more out before I have my arm cocked to throw it

She is absolutely beautiful and very smart. I bet she would not get the ball at first because it landed on that shelf and she knew she was not supposed to go up there. The ball was supposed to be on the floor, or in her mouth only for her to retrieve, right?

These shelties are so very, very smart. They do understand things, even as puppies! It is like they are born knowing things!!!!!

Right that's what I was thinking Mally's Mom- she knows not to worry things on that shelf-so smart. She has really grown up but is still so adorable...she is a ball player isn't she . Sally is too and she will fetch all day if we would...

She really is a big girl! Quite hefty haha. Lets see, she's about 16 1/2" tall at her shoulders now, and I wouldnt be surprised if she's reaching near 30 lbs! She was 24 1/2 lbs at her last weigh in at the end of Oct. one month ago.

She LOVES her ball, when we play outside, if the ball lands in an area with a lot of tall grass around it, she'll use the tip of her teeth to barely grab the ball before bringing it back. She was so funny when the ball landed on the hutch being all good and sitting and waiting for me to get it. Such a good girl.

Skyla will also run before I even throw the ball, so saying "come sit" while we are still wrestling with the ball lets her know I want her to stay near. I still have to kind of pull her to me though to come sit, but heck its better than her completely ignoring me!

I should make her "bloopers" video haha - where she waited and then ran after the ball when I said good girl instead of go get it. And the few times she ran after the ball without waiting lol.

She's adorable, I love the pic of her bringing you the ball, I have seen that look in many of my Shelties eyes and it melts your heart.
