Today was a good day in Delaware, and I was able to get out and about for the first time in a while. Six weeks ago I developed a painful neuroma in my left foot, and it's been touch-and-go for me getting out to play with Dickens. Here's a short clip of us in the back yard. I wanted to get a shot of him zooming around, but by the time I got out there he had settled down. It's really a thing of beauty watching him run; he does it so effortlessly, and since his full coat has yet to come in you can see the musculature as he moves along. Full-coated Shelties, I think, look a bit clumsy in their motions, but like a duck moving through the water you can't tell what's really going on underneath!
