He's a good looking boy and at 5 months has a very nice coat. I've become accustomed to the coyote look at 5-6 months but he doesn't have it at all.

Your little man just keeps getting more handsome every day. Such beautiful markings, I too love the ears and you can tell his coat is well taken care of . . . I can see the shine all the way down here in Central Florida. :smile2:

Yes, a straggly trim at best. I sprung for an "EXPENSIVE" pair of thinning shears, came yesterday. No doubt about it, when you have the right equipment it sure makes the work a lot easier.

The Pet Store shears have 27 + or -, spaces. Good ones have 46 or more plus they are very sharp.

No pics yet of his NEW hair do.

You've convinced me - I did Hanna's ears yesterday with my straight scissors. They are not bad, but nothing like the groomer does. Do you mind sharing what brand you have as I think I'll go ahead and order a pair.

    Get ready for sticker shock.

Kenchii Scorpion 46 Tooth Dog Grooming Thinning Shear at Amazon for $83.99.

I actually saw some that are supposedly better yet for $160.

You have know idea how great these things are until you have tried them.

Trimmed Chip's ears in less than five minutes.
