I actually went to the pound with a note in my pocket, the note said,"Diane, do not go home with a dog today" I put it in my pocket, and when I was on the bus kept pulling it out and read the note out loud to myself. I would then put the not back in my pocket. I did this about 20 times on the bus, one more time after filling out the application. I proceeded to go to the area where the dogs were, all up and down the rows tons of pitt bulls, didn't want them(I don't have a bias) I just knew I didn't want a dog stronger than me. I came across a beagle. I didn't think my neighbors would appreciate the howl, I walked a Jack Russell, to hyper. And then I saw him. Their were two groups of people looking at him and he refused to go to them I came up and he came over and I took him for a walk. I brought him back to his crate, Bodacious, put his paw in my hand and looked up at me. (just like yours does) I said,"Bodacious, your not staying here any more your coming home with me"

I've been in love for three years, our anniversary is the Dec 4th

I understand that COMPLETELY. Miley was my MIL's new puppy. While visiting to see the new puppy, her 2 Huskies attacked the puppy. I had to fight one off to get ahold of her. I carried her in a towel to the emergency vet (she was fine thank God just shaken up (literally!) ). We left the vet with her and she was the light of my life for 3 much too short years. BTW....I had told my family multiple times we were NEVER getting a dog. Whatever.....
