Thank you for posting that, it was an interesting article. I wish there were more PR classes here, most generally teach using traditional methods and while they are OK with people coming and using clickers this is not how they teach. I see from the comments some people had reservations about the crates - I have mixed feelings too as while it is good to have the dogs 'safe', I do probably the majority of my training in class while we are waiting our turn - getting the dogs to focus on me, contro lwork etc in a quiet manner so they learn to deal with distractions or in Epic's case working takes his mind off worrying. I'd worry about switching the dogs on and off by taking them in an out of a crate. I thought the four ft rule was excellent. I do wish people would be aware that just because their lead is x feet long it doesn't mean the dog has to be given the full length of it while they are having a chat!
