Hi y'all, from Texas!

Hello everyone! I just joined the site yesterday and have already gotten some good feedback and information. I can't wait to learn more and share my experiences with y'all.

About my Sheltie:
His name is Cash. He is almost 11 months old. I have had him for almost a year. I actually drove 2 and a half hours to get him from a breeder because there are none in my area. He definitely is a mommas boy. His best friend, besides me, is a chocolate lab mix. Unfortunately they were going to be separated soon.

Why I chose a Sheltie:
I have always wanted one. I think they are beautiful and I love their demeanors. My family has owned a Collie and a couple Boarder Collies. We had good experiences with all of them. However, I always wanted a smaller breed. Then, my best friend's roommate at the time had a Sheltie. But she was rarely home and the poor dog was always in her kennel. I was over there all the time and would let her out and give her all the attention her own owner wasn't giving. I wished I could've stole her because she was a great dog! And now a year and a half later I have my own.

Your cash is cute. I love the picture crashing, how cute is that. Where you all at a pirate parade in he first pic. I had to look to see if you were from florida in the gasparilla pirate parade.

cash is not only cute, but, I like how he knows to snuggle up to people, other dogs to cuddle up. He can cuddle with me any time
