I will check out that zip line, that sounds neat! I think the first few car rides we'll try just holding him, and see how he does, and if/when he seems okay with the car then we'll get something to keep him somewhat contained/in one place. I have a really small car so I hope we don't need to transport him in a crate! Quote:
And that's good to know, hopefully if we have a pee problem trimming hair will be all that's needed. I've never had a long haired dog, or a male, so that's all new to me! |

New to crate training but all the advice is exactly what I followed on crates. I bought mine mail order/Internet (drs foster and smith) and with divider is great. A whole three nights
and she is doing great. Hope you get your baby in March! Melanie |

well, Jocu inherited a lot of Cranberry's puppy things- including car carrier:
http://jocubiblack.shutterfly.com/pictures/12 that is what he sleeps in at night in the bedroom right next to the big dogs' soft crates. in the living room, there is an array of dog beds and a row of wire crates- http://jocubiblack.shutterfly.com/pictures/27 it goes- Cranberry's black crate (that he inherited from older dog when he went over size), Dixie's crate (silver- that she inherited so Jocu could have Cran's old crate), Jocu's crate- also black and a little smaller than the silver crate and I still have the divider for it so it's the puppy crate. puppy rides in the carrier in the car, big dogs have harnesses that attach to doggy seatbelts - http://www.flickr.com/photos/3042358...57607235907438 |
