My Heartfelt thanks goes out to all of you. I am a total stranger with one post and your comments and well wishes have brought tears to already wet eyes.

This is one time in my life I wish I didn't work from home because "E" followed me everywhere. If I was eating or making a sandwich he was always underfoot.

It has been breaking my heart that our other dog (Roxie) is looking everywhere for Elvis and sitting at the front door waiting for him. Elvis always went potty out the front door and Roxie would wait for him to come back inside and then they would both get peanut butter treats.


All we can do is take it one day at a time.

Dear Rich,

I am so sorry to hear about your dear sweet Elvis. I know how terribly hard this is for you. I have gone through this too many times and every little sweetheart has broken my heart too, but they still are IN my heart and thoughts all the time. I really feel bad this was so sudden. Course, doesn't really matter if it's sudden or not, always just hurts terribly. I know that terrible feeling that the house is empty, whether or not another dog lives there. Be sure to give your baby Roxie at home extra love. I know she is hurting too. God bless you and your little loves. Take good care of yourself.
