Default Welcome!

Think you will enjoy this friendly & supportive group!! It's obvious we are all owned by our Shelties. My 2 are also adopted from a family that couldn't handle their 6 dog situation-their loss, my gain!

Smile Thanks for saying hello chasinponies

Hi, I am trying to figure out how this forum page works. I will get it. eventually. I would love to hear about other Shelties & their parents. I especially would like to read about health issues to watch for as my furry buddy is another family member & I want to keep him heathy. You were so fortunate to find 2 shelties that needed a home. Sometimes I wish I had 2. Sometimes Blue does something to show me he is not happy like pulling papers, books & magazines off of the counter. Last week I left a seedless cucumber on the counter. He got it and ate it including part of the plastic wrapper. Do you love having 2 Shelties?

Welcome to the sheltie forum. I am glad you joined. I bet you will love it here as much as I do. I have found people on the forum to very knowledgable and caring.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving your sheltie it's forever home.

What is your sheltie's name? (Our sheltie is also 7 years old and his name is Malachi, but we call him Mally.) We love him dearly.

Welcome to Sheltie Nation! Yep, all our Shelties own us. And we do love those pix!

I started out with a tiny little guy I had from a puppy that lived almost 18 years. I'm on my second now - a 6 year old girl named Bela who was rescued from a puppy mill. We started off rough - puppy mill rescues have a big set of problems - but now we are going strong, and you can't tell she's been anything but a cherished princess all her life!

Welcome - we do love pix. I have a boy who also loves to get into stuff - most recently his fourth tub stopper.

Shelties do grow on you - ask anyone who knows has more than one. I started off with Emma, with given Liam about a year later, and then was approached to take Natalie. Just love them - they have provided much comfort to me in the last few months and given me a reason to keep going.

I'm new to Sheltie Nation too. You'll get the hang of it quickly. There are lots of helpful posts, cute pictures, and lots of caring sheltie owners.
