Default Walking the North Downs Way

It's been a long time since I posted the last set of pictures from this walk so finally I have all the rest of the albums to share:

Part 3, walking along the beautiful rolling downland which I can see from my window at work. Old meets new as a Roman age Hill Fort now has the Channel Tunnel beginning its long underground Journey to France. (15 pictures)

Part 4, where downland changes to dramatic cliffs and we see reminders of WW2 and the Battle of Britain which took place over the area where we are walking. (18 pictures)

Part 5. The end of our walk with some more cliff top scenes and the view from the bottom of the cliffs! No! we walked down and paid a visit to Samphire Hoe which was created from the spoil from the Channel Tunnel and is now a nature reserve. (17 pictures)

I hope you enjoy these pictures from our summer walking adventure. It seems a long time ago!

The second two links link back to part 3 but I found 4 and 5 (also, jealous you got to see the dressage rides, I was so disappointed to missed watching Dujardin's ride even just to see someone at that level in a helmet.)

I love the idea of conservation grazing! I wish the US was that inventive and integrated into sustainable practice like that.

Really sorry about the second link not working, blame it on the hour!

Hopefully this should work, Part 4

Not sure why Part 5 didn't work but try this:

Glad you liked the dressage too Greenepony It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. Even gave me some ideas for moves to try out for our heelwork to music routines
