Default UKC Fun

I woke up this morning thinking of the people trying to get through the aftermath of the hurricane. What a tragedy and massive work for recovery from the devastation.

Dog showing seems a small thing in light of all that.

We did our first UKC showing last week. It was a lot of fun! I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to learn about showing in conformation also. The no use of product and minimal trimming make the grooming not so daunting. Everyone we met was nice and we got our questions answered all along the way.

Dasher is now UCH Merry Meet Oh Bi Gosh Bi Golly! His littermate got his competition wins too. Just needs some points to finish it.

We really enjoyed it. Recommend! Today back to go-out training and working with the dumbell. Obedience and agility our next hoped for foray. Dash really moved the ducks well when I tried him on them, but we don't know enough about herding training. Maybe someday we can find a way to that, too.
