Thank you for the cat advice. The cats have started spending time in the living room and we have had a couple of cat and dog interactions with only one hissing event as Emilie invaded one of the cat's space.

I too am medically retired and having Emilie has certainly increased my activity level which is good. I am glad to know how important fetch is and that there is such a tool to help with my off days.

My vet doesn't have kindergarten but does have doggie day care. I plan to enroll her as soon as permitted.

As for obedience, I plan to enroll her.
