Default Ouch! That must have hurt!

So my Zoey was doing her usual zoomies around the back yard yesterday when she came around the corner and cleared both steps on our paver patio. She's done this a million times, but on this occasion her front leg buckled and down she went, smacking her chin on the patio. I heard it!! Kind of stunned her for a second. I brought them all inside right away to check her out. No broken teeth, tongue okay, but she managed to skin her chin pretty good. Wasn't long before she was acting like nothing happened. Guess it's like when we were kids and we'd fall off our bikes, skin our knees, get patched up and be off playing again...LOL.

Here's a pic of my zanny lady shortly after the incident. Already begging for a treat!

I'm glad she is okay--and now that I know she is I definitely smiled. She will milk you for all the treats you'll share!

Lexi did the SAME thing on the table in agility. Just totally face planted. I didn't notice it until the run was over, but she had a little raspberry on her chin.

I thought it was pretty cute :)

I've been waiting for Tin to do the same thing. Especially if I have been out and then put him right out after I get home. He's so intent on coming back to greet me he scares the heck out of me with his crazy zoomies. Give that little dog of yours a kiss to make it better from Tin and me.

Aw

Olive's bonked her head a few times on the coffee table (forgets to duck) but she's never actually hurt herself.

Aww poor little thing, so glad she is okay. It's a wonder more things don't happen the way they zoom around. And then they just stand and laugh at you afterwards. It is quite priceless.
