Do you find that they run similarly? Or do you have to run them with different plans? Just curious!

totally different

from observers perspective- Cran is way more handler focused but also fast and I am still working on timing of cues. He is just as likely to run around a jump as to actually jump it so I can't really assume he'll take the jump and cue the next obstacle......
Dixie on the other hand will jump anything and is doing much better at doing a whole course- that would be why she has 2 AKC Std Qs and Cran none

also she is more likely to hit all the contacts since Cran is still doing the supersheltie leap off the dogwalk and recently the teeter.
we are about to start on 2o2o with him.......
I do find that I have to think about each dog while walking the course and then I tend to shortchange Cran as it's easier to plan for Dixie. She has also been the beneficiary of her name- she's usually listed second and then I move her farther down the list so they aren't back to back. then wherever I messed up with Cran, I fix when I run her...... that's how she got her Tunnelers title in April while Cran just got his on Sat. I screwed up one tunnel cue and he missed it but I fixed it when I ran her.
I kind of wish that Cran had been farther along when I started Dixie- we are all still learning and very green handler with 2 novice dogs- I guess I must be crazy
