Now THIS I am excited about!!! It apparently was demo'd over the weekend. Daisy Peel makes a good point on the first course map. It will allow all heights of dogs to participate, where as the break down of ISC heights makes it difficult for certain dogs to be able to participate. Like my 12" dog who in ISC is an 18" dog

Hopefully something will come of this sooner rather than later.
I don't see anything in the first 2 example courses that would challenge me for a solution. The 3rd example does give me pause to think. |

Looks interesting, but I'm not overly gung-ho about "backwards" agility, where you take the backside of all the jumps.

Getting the backside of the jump isn't that difficult. We had it in ISC in Cleveland in December, and practice it at home. Technically, backside of jumps can already be offered in excellent/masters. A friend had it on a course a few months ago.
I remember getting to demo T2B when it was in the works. It first showed up for me at the Tri County Agility Club trial in Lake St Louis, and then later at Hamilton Ohio's trial which was just a short while before it was available to run. The Tri County club demo'd it February 2010. So from then it was 16 months before it was officially open for trials to add. I would love it if one of the local clubs would demo this new class. I really would love to try it out. Last edited by HopeShelties; Feb 26, 2013 at 09:50 AM. |

Looks like a lot of fun! Hopefully one day it will make it out here (we never are test areas....too small of trials out here I guess?)

Then steer clear of USDAA as that's all the rage now. Especially with the Masters Challenge courses. Taking the backside of jumps...backjumping jumps like going one way and then coming right back over the same jump in the opposite direction. Same with tunnels, going in one end and then going back in the end they just came out of. Crazy stuff.
