I believe they were around 55days old when the pics were taken. But one thing about this litter is the size. I doubt half of this litter stayed in size... Alfie and his big bro(sable) are already over 16" lol

    they just seem so fluffy:smile2:
here's some pix of Cran about the same age- he's not that floofy (and he's almost 2 yrs now and definitely oversize:wink2:)

well, you'll certainly enjoy the color changes down the road- seems like every week, something's a little different- you can see the many changes that Cran has gone through in our Shutterfly site.

Aww he's adorable! I wish I had Alfie as a puppy, I'd have taken so many pictures!! Yes I agree sable Merle's seem to change most drastically compared to other colours. Alfie when he first came to me was a very light sable, even kind of creamy looking, but as he ages he started growing more black fur and his coat really darkens now.

I don't know why others can open the links but I can't. I just get a message the "links appear to be broken".

It sounds stupid, but is it possible that some websites don't "cross borders"?

Just looked at these....yes, I'm sable Merle obsessed! Unfortunately I could only one of Alfie....looks like he was about 8 weeks. What a poof ball!

I looked at some of his pictures in other posts. He is sure handsome!

Looked at Cran's pictures in this post too. Looks like he was about 4 months....same age as Callan now. He has a lot if dark hair in the photos, but I recall his tiny baby pictures being quite light coloured?

Both beauties....can't wait to see how Callan turns out!

I think we need a sable Merle photo thread......you guys with older dogs to show us newbies how they changed:smile2:

I'm glad to know it's not just me. Barb, are you on a Mac? I am and almost all of those links are broken for me too!

I can't see the links either -- using google chrome on a regular laptop. Calle's breeder swears up and down there are no merles in her pedigree, but I don't agree since she's got one blue eye and one brown. Didn't matter to us since we were after a pet and not a show dog -- and didn't even know about merles when we got her, but after being on this forum I'd know more next time.

since the original post is from 2011- it's likely the pix were moved or deleted....
