Default What the poop?!

Well, I'm assuming my little guy got into a little something something, cos he had his first accident in FOREVER. The worst part - it was a stinky poop.

He's only ever pooped inside once, the night we got him. Today, he had his normal morning poop. Just a half hour ago or so, I was in the kitchen making some tea, only to walk out to see his popping a squat on the ONLY rug we have in our apartment. WHAT THE HECK INDIE?! Of course I was shocked, and he stopped as soon as I caught him, but it was already too late. A big, stinky, not at all solid poop. Poor guy. He obviously didn't feel well and had to go, but I'm so disappointed he didn't even try going to the door or whining. Even when he had a bad case of roundworms months back, he whined when he needed to go poop. I guess I'm just going to keep him on quarantine today and hope it was just something he might have ate. Should I just write it off as he really couldn't hold it?

It must have been a sudden attack.

I agree. Poor guy didn't feel good and realized he had to go NOW.

Dogs are like humans.....sometimes you just gotta go!

Once is an accident....but keep your eye on him, regardless. You certainly don't want this to become a new trend.

If you haven't already clean your floor with an enzyme neutralizing cleaner....of if you don't have it handy, a liberal dose of vinegar and water. And watch you dog like a hawk!

Once may be an accident, but after that, they sometimes think its good to just poo wherever is convenient, rather to hold it.

You might need to go back to puppy 101 short term
