Ribbons

Now that we have a few agility ribbons, I'm looking for some ideas on what to do with them.

I'm leaning towards a scrapbook, but I'm a little scatterbrained at trials and I don't think I saved all my course maps. My other idea is to put them in an individual ziplock bag with a label that says what each one is for and then storing them all in a shoebox. I know some people make blankets, but we're not anywhere close to that level yet.

I know ribbons have been discussed in the past, but its been a while since we've brought up the topic and I was curious to see if people still store their ribbons the same way.

Feel free to post pics. I'd love to see what everyone does with their ribbons.

I've been trying to decide what to do with my old horse show ribbons and I've found a couple smaller options for my "special" ones. I'm likely going to sew my own though so the cost isn't really concern with me- not sure how comfortable you would be sewing yours.

My only concern with a vase/cube is that ribbons will warp if you don't have them flat/completely vertical.

New title ribbons go on a wire in my living room

Q ribbons go in a box with the stickers on them. If the club gave out rosettes, I cut the center streamer out and toss the rest.
Placement ribbons get stapled to Q ribbons, again with the center streamers cut out of rosettes and the rest tossed. (I dislike rosettes for general placements, they are too expensive and take up too much space)

Each dog has a plastic box.

I used to keep them and hang them on a chain down in the basement to cover the icky walls. Now, only the big ribbons go down there. If we go to UKC shows, we usually clean up, so those ribbons go down there.

I love the idea of the Shadowbox and the blankets and pillows made from them but they are so expensive to have done.I have some in bags and in draws and on hangers to keep them from getting wrinkled.Shadows MACH ribbon and his ISC and ribbons from the European Open and his AKC Nationals I keep seperate from the others.I would love to have his picture taken with all of his ribbons.

Mine are all in a plastic bin. Q stickers are on the Q ribbons. I stopped taking placement ribbons after a year. And as of last year, quit taking Q ribbons and put stickers in a binder now....unless it's a special Q, like his awesome Open FAST run. ;)

I have seen people hang them on bars by the strings. It's neat. I don't really have a permanent household (meaning I am in an apt), but maybe I'll put something up like that. And below it, his agility photos that are framed.

Otherwise, one day, when I get those bigger ribbons, those will go into shadow boxes with photos. until then, ribbons are all in a box.

All of the ribbons for my first two CD's, and all the ribbons that got us points towards Katies AKC CH are all in shadowboxes on the wall.

I put all of our ribbons in a shoebox, and then the title ribbons go on the wall in the office.

I contacted one of the persons form the link posted and her prices weren't bad for having pillows made.I am thinking on doing a couple pillows.The price for the pillows were $50.00 and I think that is resonable and she irons the ribbons and everything else.

Nice! I guess my issue is that I'm in an apartment and I don't want to clutter my bedroom with ribbons. I don't want it to look like a 12 year old's bedroom. If I had an office or a basement then I would hang them.

Maybe I will box up her Q & placement ribbons and hang her title ribbons on her crate for now.

DH ran a wire over the door to my study. All Beckon's rally Ribbons are on display there. I love looking up at them when I'm working.
