UTI is worse

    Just seeing this, Ashley, how worrying! When Asta had a kidney infection, nothing even showed up on the urine test at first because she was drinking non-stop so the sample was very dilute and happened to not show any bacteria. Unfortunately, it probably started as a UTI and then the bacteria went upstream to her kidney. She was on antibiotics for a solid month, before it went away. They finally identified E. Coli as the culprit.

    I hope Lexi is improving....

    Thanks for the well wishes, everyone! No official update yet, but she does seem to be doing better on this new antibiotic. Should have results tomorrow from the culture.

    Thanks for the update, Ashley. I was thinking about Lex and wondering how she was doing and if you'd heard anything from the culture yet.

    Still keeping her in my thoughts.
