Since there hasn't been any more seizures (and this counts for a week past 2nd puppy shots--knock on wood) the neurologist said that I can slowly start weaning him off the Keppra. (Even though for his weight now, the dose he is now taking is lower than low, it will take nearly two weeks.) If seizure activity returns, doctor said that the therapy will have to be restarted and he will have to be reevaluated yet again. So far, we don't know why Blaze had one to begin with and his regular vet says that she's inclined to believe that it was "secondary to the lack of oxygen".

Please keep your fingers crossed with me that there will not be anymore seizure activity.

That is very good news! I hope Blaze continues to be just fine. I'm sure it will be a relief to have him off the medicine. Sending him pats! :smile2::smile2:
