Is that the same site as the Rochester and West. NY Collie Specialties? It's a nice site, but no, I won't be there.

Are you thinking the SSC of Western NY? Central does their specialties in the Fall now, I think.

wff, that's a long way from here!

We used to do them when they were in Brockport... it was an eight-hour drive from CT, and we'd spend the weekend with a Sheltie friend in Buffalo. It was a haul, but the Juniors entries were always huge, and we went every year. I always forget just how BIG New York State is.

I'm sorry it is the western new york one. I'm going more because my breeder is going to be there as well as get some real show practice before the ones in ballston spa/saratoga springs in a few months. I've only done matches and this will be my first show.

Well, it is in central New York! :) I just wasn't sure who the club was.

I hope you and your girl have a wonderful time - having a specialty as her first show is a great choice; it'll be quiet, all Shelties, and there should be a pretty big entry (so she gets to spend more time in the ring, instead of just being by herself). Plus your breeder will be there! Good luck!
