Default Clan Duncan and Maramet Shelties

I mentioned I have a friend who is a breeder and an AKC judge. She is the founder of Maramet Shelties. Apparently she had a sheltie that was the brood bitch of many shelties we all may have now. The breeder I know, her name is Maureen Metzger, and is the one person I turn to for all my sheltie questions. I have been talking to her about this forum and she said she may come join us here

Here is the article I found about the original sheltie brought to Az and owned by Maureen Clan Duncan and Maramet Shelties

Wow! That was really interesting! Thanks for sharing... I didn't look at all her descendents, but Am/Can Ch Dury Voe Zydeco, Rom, Romc is in two of mine! That is really neat!

Thumbs up

Wow, I've had my eye on the Clan Duncan site for quite some time. From the info I can find on their site, they seem to be reputable breeder. I really admire their dogs.

I see there are a couple of Winslow/Winslow Summit dogs listed. Spencer is a Winslow pup so I'll do some checking back. Thanks for such an interesting post.

Default Clan Duncan and Maramet Shelties

Well, here I am. Thanks to my friend I was able to navigate this website and join. I am computerally (new word ) disadvantaged. but I made it.
Yes, I was owned by Taffy. She was my heart dog. I also owned Riot (Ch. Piper's Strolling Minstrel) for quite a while, until his passing (another wonderful dog), and owned Banchory Reflection for about 5 yrs, during which time Ch Banchory Back Stop was conceived in my kitchen . That about covers the highlites. It's been quite a ride.
