Just wanted to announce that Indy has finally lost about 4 pounds.

He still has at least another 4-8 pounds to go, in my mind (he's now at 32.8 lbs)

How did I do it so far....I reduced his kibble and supplemented with Wereuva wet food.

He still needs the kibble for this teeth. im going to try this regime for another couple of weeks. If he continues to lose weight, great. If not, Ill have to try to something else

Melli says WAY TO GO! Indy. Melli has gone from a whopping 38 pounds down to 33.

    Keep up the good work!

Note: Have now increased Cubby to 2/3 c x2 a day as he is too thin. Sigh.

Way to go Indy! I'm thinking of switching myself to kibble...could surely stand to lose a few (ok, more than a few) pounds...

Great job! Getting a dog to loose weight is not always an easy job.

I bet playing with the puppy has helped too. Good job mom and Indy.

I agree with Susan, having a new puppy will also help. Great job Indy & you for working at it. Losing weight on a dog can be difficult.

I was going to say what Susan did. I imagine that he was under stress too with Bacca and this may have accounted for some weight gain? I have found a change in routine does work - food, exercise, change in stress level. Way to go Indy and Barb.

I lost weight when I got Emmy as a puppy! Lol. Of course, now that she's mellowed out I found it all again. :hide

Way to go, Indy! You've done great!

Great job Indy. I remember how hard it was to get Hollie to loose weight. We were able to get her from 26lbs to 19lbs, she should have lost another few but that never happened.

It sure wasn't easy and Hollie definitely didn't like it. We supplemented with green beans.
